1,000,000 Hours

Congratulations! We have officially surpassed 1,000,000 hours without a Lost Time Accident. Since January 2, 2012 WBI has worked 1,000,229 hours and 16 months without a Lost Time accident. I would like to congratulate all of you for a job well done! It has taken every one of you to achieve this success. I encourage all of you to continue watching out for and correcting any unsafe act(s), unsafe behavior(s), and/or unsafe condition(s) in order to maintain a safe work area. “Thanks to everyone for your support in our effort to “Safely Exceed Expectations”.

WBI Awarded Project at New South Canfor Lumber!

WBI has been awarded another project at New South Canfor Lumber in Conway, SC! This is the third and most substantial project we have been awarded by DR Reynolds at the New South/Canfor Lumber facility. Our work consists of demo of existing concrete and asphalt, additional underground utilities, site grading, a new Continuous Dry Kiln and new concrete paving. We look forward to working with DR Reynolds and New South/Canfor again.

Construction Picking up at Ballpark

Construction is picking up at the BB&T Ballpark in Third Ward, the future home for the Charlotte Knights minor-league baseball team. Crews have removed most of the soil on the roughly 8-acre site, and have begun pouring concrete and laying down foundation for the stadium, said Dan Rajkowski, the team’s general manager...
